Children's Author Avi on Writing & Reading

Children's author Avi recently stopped by the Bookworm of Edwards & spoke with Plum about his history, his inspiration to write for children and why children are the best audience. Avi contends that artists must be stubborn and authors must write reading, because it is only from extensive reading that authors can perfect their craft.

Humor On The Slopes brought New Yorker caroonists to Beaver Creek for a laughter filled weekend. Plum was on hand for two wonderful events "Kidtooning" paired kids and cartoonists together for a collaborative work, and "Cartoons & Cocktails" allowed adults see their ideas transformed into art.
