Hailing from the Bavarian forests of Germany, 71-year-old Helmut Fricker has been living in the Vail area for almost 40 years. You can't miss him. He's just about the only guy in the area you'll catch wearing lederhosen and playing the longhorn or the accordion. Fricker also runs his own book-binding business and spreads glee throughout the valley with his off-beat, jolly sense of humor and of course, his unmistakable yodeling.
