Program Highlights
Meet the Dancers
Now that the valley has been swept into the magic of the 2008 Vail International Dance Festival, wouldn't you like to get to know these athletic dancers a little better?
We've already sat down with a handful of stars from Paul Taylor Dance Company and we are sure to have more dancers and masterminds behind the festival through the event's duration (Aug. 9).
Where do you tune in? Channel 16, between 8 and 9:30 a.m., then noon and 6 p.m.
Also be sure to keep dialed into Plum for some exclusive footage from the festival and everything else going on - whether you missed it or not - in our fair valley.
Again - Channel 16. Be there!
Trumpet Players to Ice Cream Makers
It's that time of year on The MorningNoon&Night show that we have a good, ol' fashion extravaganza of everything under the sun.
Bravo! trumpet player Byron Stripling is making a special appearance - with brass in hand, of course - and we're getting a gelato demo from Rimini.
Keep an eye out for more tidbits from soap-making to bouquets, to dog talk with author Diane Dike. It's so much more than just a talk show.
Don't forget - live daily on Channel 16 from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Drum Roll ...
Keep your remote controls poised, people, because Plum's live Morning, Noon & Night show is about to go back to its daily broadcast.
That's right, for summer 2008, look no further for your weather, mountain tips, event info and interviews with local and visiting stars than Channel 16 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. every day.
It all begins this Friday, June 20.
You'll even get your triple dose if you choose to tune in at noon and in the evening. We recommend it. Make it your morning routine when you're in town! You'll get everything from cooking demos to golf tips. We promise you'll be entertained.
Going Live Again for Teva
Much in the same way that local bears are waking from hibernation, we Plums are coming back to life, too.
Sure, the bears got to sleep all winter and we've only been down (from live TV) since the end of the ski season in April, but as of Thursday, June 5, we're back in action.
The new and improved Morning, Noon & Night show will air live from atop the Vail Transportation Center from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. daily beginning June 20 and also for the duration of the 2008 Teva Mountain Games, June 5-8.
Be sure to tune into Channel 16 to catch each splash and crash. See you there!
Does it Really Have to End?
It's hard to believe we're down to the wire for the 2007/08 Vail ski season. Mother Nature sure doesn't appear to be ready to call it, considering that we've got another two feet in the forecast before the weekend.
Not only does April 13 mark the end of Vail and Beaver Creek's ski season, but it also marks the end of winter programming for Fresh Tracks. Live programming resumes in June, but whatever you do, don't stop tuning in to Channel 16.
This week, expect to see all the stars and shenanigans from the 2008 Vail Film Festival and Taste of Vail.
We're also putting together some reels of the very best footage from the season, and there's only one place you'll find it ... Channel 16. Just keep your dial there. You won't be disappointed.
