There's nothing like a classic rock trip back down memory lane ... especially if it involves Kansas. No, we don't want you to take a trip to Kansas. We're recommending you skedaddle over to Beaver Creek this weekend to see Kansas the band - you know, "Dust in the Wind," "Carry on Wayward Son" ... the booming arena rock act from the 1970s - play for free.
Not only will some of Beaver Creek's finest chefs whip up delights of all varieties Saturday and Sunday, but the resort's plaza transforms into a festival venue of sorts with the June Jam. Naturally, Kansas will be the headliner, playing both Saturday and Sunday, but the free music bursts at the seams with Tod Tijierna, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Chris Daniels and the Kings.
