Don't forget your bib! The Blues, Brews & BBQ festival is tasty for everyone.
What would Memorial Day weekend be without barbecue? Well, Beaver Creek knows all too well the importance of this holiday ritual, and has added more spice than any grill chef could imagine for this weekend’s celebrations.
The annual Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival kicks runs Saturday and Sunday at Beaver Creek Village, delivering not only the best Q from the MidWest, the South and local faves, but also a roundup of live music and the best beer in Colorado.
Yes, it’s no secret that Colorado sports some of the world’s best microbreweries, and 35 of them will be on hand from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday for the state’s largest beer-tasting event at Beaver Creek’s Park Hyatt.
Tasting tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Food tickets can be purchased individually and blues protégés Donna Jean and the Trickster, Marcia Ball and Mark Broussard will provide the sound track on the plaza throughout the weekend. The chairlift will also be running and Spruce Saddle restaurant at mid-mountain will be open.
